Arriving at some friends' (the Forests) house late the next night. We enjoyed a little fellowship and much needed sleep after two days and a half on the road.
The next morning we went sight seeing with the Forests to see some of the hill country beauties of Texas. At noon we ate at Rudy's Bar-B-Q restaurant where our plates were pieces of paper and you ate most everything with your hand. It was very fun and tasty.
The next two and a half days, Dad, Anne, and Steven went to a film makers academy to learn how to make a movie and other things about photography (which Anne liked).
While they were gone during the day, Mom, Trenton, and I relaxed at the hotel, went swimming in the warm air and went to a childrens' museum with the Pittengers.
On Wednesday evening we went to a Mexican restaurant with the Forests. The food was amazing and we were able to talk with the Forests even more. After my parents not seeing them for over twenty years, there was a lot to talk about :D Then Mrs. Forests asked if any of us had a birthday that day or the day before. Finding out that Steven's birthday had been the day before, she told our waiter who in turn had a surprise for Steven. They put a sombrero on Steven, gave him free ice cream with a candle in it and yelled to everyone there that it was Steven's 17th birthday. It was a lot of fun!! :D
The next three days we all went to the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival. We had lots of fun there as well and learned some interesting things.
Well, with that, here are a few pictures......

Sunday morning we started on our way home. We dorve untill 12:30am. Got a little sleep and continued in the morning driving steady all day because we wanted to make it home in time for Steven and my choir concert which had been postponed three times before because of bad weather. We made it home 1 hour and 45 minutes before we had to leave for the concert. We thank God for safe travel and that we were able to make it back for the concert. The concert was tons of fun!! :)
After the concert
In Christ,
Suzanne
